Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0645-1630 and common shift schedules are 8 hr/days.

  • Coordinate patient health care needs with appropriate referrals as needed

  • Maintain link with professional organizations and nursing standards relevant to ambulatory care. Implement nursing care in the ambulatory setting using these standards.

  • Liaison with appropriate inpatient units as an advocate for continuity of care planning, follow-up, and outcome measurement.

Must have:

  • Possess an Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an accredited nursing program or a Diploma from a Nursing Program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

  • Ability to pass a Government background investigation

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction

  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from an American Heart Association Program

  • PALS certification

  • One year experience as an RN working in an ambulatory setting within the past 2 years
